About DZ
History
Delta Zeta was founded in the Fall of 1902 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Alfa Lloyd, Mary Collins, Anna Keen, Julia Bishop, Mabelle Minton, and Anna Simmons met with the President of the University to begin Delta Zeta. Delta Zeta was the first sorority to be founded at that University.

Morehead State's chapter of Delta Zeta was founded February 21, 1970. It is apart of Delta Zeta Region 13. The current number of members in Delta Zeta is 87, and the average GPA is 3.27.
Today Delta Zeta enriches the lives of over 260,000 Collegiate members and Alumnae in the United States and Canada.
Our Mission
Delta Zeta's mission is to create a life long, values-based membership experience for women. Our vision is to create a global women's organization whose shared values truly inspire action and impact lives.
Our core values are: friendship, service, leadership, and truth.
​Members strive to be lifelong learners, prioritizing new experiences, academics, and developing life skills. The Kappa Tau Chapter provides Delta Zeta women with the support and resources they need to be a successful group of women that honor our core values in everyday life.
